About

Exposed to design at a young age, choosing a career in design was inevitable. Tanya is the daughter of John Lyons, who set up J Lyons Interiors in 1988, establishing a reputation as Ireland’s most exclusive furniture and design showroom. With a design edit sourced from all around the world, inspiration was constant.  It was here that Tanya’s passion for design began. Having studied in London, gaining prestigious awards for her work, Tanya pursued a career in Interior Design using her passion for textiles and her innate sense of relevant design in its environment.

With over 20 years of experience in the Design Industry, Tanya has practiced authentic and quality interior design with an eclectic and vibrant approach to lifestyles, gaining a reputation for creating luxurious interiors using colour, texture, and form. Tanya has worked on high-end residential design and bespoke commercial design in London, New York, and throughout Ireland. Her work includes projects at the prestigious K Club in Straffan and has been a leading designer for high-end show houses throughout Ireland. Tanya has been a contributor and her work has been featured in Irish Interiors.

“For me, design has to excite the people that walk through it, while having a timeless quality. A home should be a reflection of who you are, adding a little whimsy to give a distinctive interior.”
